What is the best time of day to do sessions?
Newborn photography sessions are held in the mornings Monday - Friday. Weekend availability for baby photos is limited. Outdoor portrait session including Maternity, Family, Branding and Lifestyle sessions take place no later than 3 hours after sunrise and no earlier than 3 hours before sunset. This allows us to make the best use of lighting. In studio sessions times or more flexible since we set up out own lighting and do not need to rely on the sun.
After I chose the photos I want edited, do you send me all the other photos unedited?
After choosing your favorites, we will edit them and send you only those photos. We do not send you unedited photos. If you would like more digital files or products outside of what is provided in the package, you may purchase more after viewing your proofs.
What precautions are you taking during the pandemic?
While I am usually a "hugger," I will avoid hugs and close physical contact families.
I will wash hands and use hand sanitizer throughout the session
I will wear a face mask during the shoot. I ask that families wear masks as well, when not being photographed
The shoot is limited to just the family members being photographed
I ask all parties to remain in the designated shoot location at all times

We have a list of top locations in the ATL and Metro-ATL area that offer a variety of looks! If you want to be captured by a waterfall, in a studio, in front of a city-scape or even on a Christmas Tree farm – we can make it happen!
What is the cancellation policy?
A cancellation is never what we hope for but we understand that things come up. In the event of the client cancellation for any reason the retainer fee is non-refundable. A minimum of 48 hours’ notice will be required for cancellation of your contract and any cancellation made with less than 48 hours’ notice prior to the agreed upon service date will result in your full payment. If the cancellation is initiated by the KK Horhn Photography, all monies paid will be fully refunded, including the retainer fee. Refund shall be paid out within one week of our cancellation.
If you wish to reschedule for personal or other reasons, you must provide 48 hours’ notice. Any amount paid may be used as a credit. You are permitted to reschedule the session one time and the reschedule date must take place within 7 days for a newborn session and 90 days for a family session after the original portrait session date.
What happens if we experience inclement weather?
Rain, sleet or snow - do not worry. In the event of a storm, natural disaster or any inclement weather, we will work with you to reschedule your service at an agreed upon time and date.
What is the turnaround time for pictures?
You can expect your proof gallery in 7 business days, following your portrait session. Once you’ve selected your photos, please allow up to 14 business to receive the final gallery.
