Jamisha. Georgia State University.
Recently I had the privilege of photographing Jamisha's gradation portraits! This session was special to me because, I too, graduated from Georgia State University with a Master's in Social Work and could relate to the relief and sense of accomplishment that she was feeling. Jamisha was in her last few weeks of her MSW program and wanted photos that said "I made it!" The location was perfect. The rooftop portraits portray someone who is on top of the world. Jamisha made it through a tough two year program (trust me I know) and now the possibilities are endless. The second location really provided a joyful feeling from the moment we walked up. The bright colorful wall provided one of my favorite backdrops. In fact, I have already driven through Atlanta in search of some more colorful buildings that I can not wait to use for other clients. Jamisha, your positivity is contagious and I wish you all the best! I am so grateful for the opportunity to capture this special moment!!

I always tell clients, "Let's get some shots for your mom." These are the more posed, traditional style portraits. Once we get those, everyone is warmed up and ready to catch some fun candid moments.
